Darshita Mistry joined Kalsi Engineering as a Consultant on January 15, 2018. She holds an M.S. in Computer Science. Additionally, she holds a B.E. and M.E. in Electrical Engineering. She came to the United States in 2009 from India with her 18-month-old son and joined her husband. Before joining the Master’s program in 2014, she was a stay-at-home mom. Prior to joining Kalsi Engineering, she was a Research Associate at Cloud Computing Research Lab, Prairie View A&M University. She has more than two years of experience in cloud computing, design and development of big data analytics applications for large scale seismic data and oilfield streaming data. She also has an experience in Machine learning/Deep learning algorithms for pattern recognitions. She is passionate about learning new technologies. Kalsi Engineering will benefit from her experience in software development, and her background in Electrical Engineering. She will be working on development and enhancement of Kalsi Engineering’s software such as KVAP®, CVAP®, LiFE®, and COMMAND. She will utilize her Electrical Engineering knowledge in motor current signature analysis and will also support various engineering projects.
